Why choose a local installer
- We are just minutes away, for the free home visit, for maintenance and for any question after installation.
- We know local homes: Villas and townhouses in Gran Alacant, flat and tiled roofs, and community rules on urbanisations.
- We handle all the Spanish paperwork: Permits, grid registration and the IBI rebate.
- Our own team, no subcontractors: The people who design your system install it and stand behind the warranty.
Built for the coast
Sea air and salt speed up corrosion. In Gran Alacant and Santa Pola we use mounting structures and fixings with reinforced anti-corrosion protection, and recommend cleaning the panels once a year to remove salt and dust.
Ideal for holiday homes
Many homes in Gran Alacant are second residences. With solar you can:
- Monitor your system and your consumption from your phone, wherever you are.
- Run the pool pump, air conditioning and alarm on solar energy while the house is empty.
- Get credit on your bill for the energy you don’t use, through surplus compensation.
- Add a battery so evening use in summer runs on your own energy.
50% off your IBI for 5 years
Santa Pola town hall, which covers Gran Alacant, reduces IBI property tax by 50% for 5 years for homes that install solar panels (2025 tax bylaw). You must apply within 6 months of installation, and we handle the application for you. With an IBI bill of €500 a year, that is €1,250 saved over 5 years.
FAQ
How much do solar panels cost in Gran Alacant? A 3–6 kWp home system typically costs €4,000–€8,000 including VAT, or €9,000–€14,000 with a battery. You get a fixed price after the free assessment.
Do I need to live in Spain full time? No. We install on second homes and you can follow everything remotely.
Can I install panels on a townhouse or in a community? Yes. On a townhouse we use your own roof; for shared buildings there is collective self-consumption, approved by a simple majority at the community meeting.
